Stop arguing over who won what and let our Skins Game Calculator keep perfect track. Enter players, scores, and the skin value; the tool instantly identifies winners, handles carry-overs, and even tallies cash payouts.
How Skins Work
In a skins game, each hole is worth a “skin.” The player with the lowest unique score on a hole wins the skin. If two or more players tie, the skin carries over and the next hole is worth one additional skin. At the end, players are paid based on the total skins they’ve won multiplied by the agreed-upon value.
What the Calculator Does
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Dynamic Scorecard | Builds an entry grid for 2–8 players and 9 or 18 holes. |
| Carry-over Logic | Automatically stacks skins when holes are tied. |
| Payout Calculation | Multiplies skins won by the dollar value you set. |
| Net or Gross | Choose to type net scores (with handicap) or raw strokes. |

Example
Scenario
- 4 players, 18 holes, $2 per skin
- Front-nine sees two carry-overs; back-nine is clean
Outcome
- Player A: 7 skins → $14
- Player B: 5 skins → $10
- Player C: 4 skins → $8
- Player D: 2 skins → $4
Tips & Best Practices
- Agree on net vs. gross before the round; the calculator handles either.
- Double-check inputs—a single typo can swing the money.
- Mulligans don’t exist in skins; record the first ball only.
- Side bets? Use the payout column to reconcile chips or Venmo on the spot.
Limitations
- The calculator assumes stroke play skins. Match-play variations aren’t supported.
- Holes tied with all players carry forward exactly one skin per tie—no rollover limits.
- Payouts are calculated individually; choose any settlement method you like.
